At Our Calendar App, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal and financial data. This policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your name and email address to manage your account.
  • Financial Information: We use Plaid to securely connect to your bank accounts. We collect transaction data (merchant name, amount, date, and category) to display within the app. We do not see or store your bank login credentials (username/password); those are handled entirely by Plaid and your bank.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data exclusively to:

  • Provide automated expense tracking and budgeting features.
  • Categorize your spending and display it on your personal calendar.
  • Sync data between your authorized devices.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
  • Service Providers: We share data with Plaid (for bank connectivity) and Google Firebase (for secure database storage and authentication). These providers are only authorized to use your information as necessary to provide these services to us.

4. Data Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption provided by Google Firebase. Access to your financial data is restricted to your authenticated user account only.

5. Your Choices and Data Deletion

You can disconnect your bank account at any time through the app settings. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at admin@davidmevans.com, and we will purge your record from our systems within 30 days.
